You want good information about them, maybe a photo, know where they'll work rather than where they live and be sure that they're prepared to perform the sort of ceremony you want.

Celebrante Pty Ltd was established as a result of the wedding of David and Angie Taylor in September 2005. David was given the job of finding a celebrant for the special day and two things stuck out.

One was that when he did a Yellow Pages search for celebrants in Sydney, there were 454 ads to choose from! How on earth are you supposed to figure out who is going to be perfect for one of the most important days of your life?

The other was that even the specialist wedding websites that had celebrant listings either had very poor search capabilities or that they had very few listings - one of them had just 13 celebrants listed for all of NSW!

So we decided to put together a website that helped people find a celebrant - simply, easily and quickly.

Since then we've supplied our celebrants with over 30,000 enquiries and helped 15,000 people find the right celebrant for their special occasion whether it be a wedding, a funeral, a naming ceremony or any other kind of event where a celebrant would add something unique.

Now we've decided to provide people with a new way to find not just celebrants but photographers, entertainers, cars and venues (with more to follow) because all though these services can be wedding related, all of these suppliers can often do so much more.

And so we came up with the "Just" sites.
